Whether you're a beginner, or are already comfortable on skis and want
to go to your next level, having an experienced instructor is the best
way to go.
A professional, like Dwight won’t allow you to pick up bad habits.
If you learn with proper techniques from the beginning with a watchful
eye guiding you, you'll be on your way in no time.
Dwight will help you learn the proper clothing to buy for the slopes
and how to layer those clothes so that you will not be too hot or too
cold even in the most adverse conditions.
His approach is simple and easy to learn. He tells you how to accomplish
a specific technique, and then demonstrates what he has instructed. The
next step is to observe you performing that exact technique. This style
of teaching will be repeated over and over until the student performs
it to Dwight’s satisfaction,. As a medium proficient skier, we not
only want to get you down those hills but do so skillfully and gracefully.
Dwight has instructed a wide variety of students. He has worked with
the deaf, first timers and those physically challenged. On the other end
of the spectrum, he skis the blacks, snow cat skiing and has gone heli-skiing
in many parts of the globe. Dwight is at home on skis like most people
are in tennis shoes.
